CN7M National Standard Flange Gate Valve is a specialized high-alloy isolation valve engineered specifically for handling severe corrosive media, particularly hot sulfuric acid. Utilizing Alloy 20 (CN7M) and adhering to GB/T 12234 standards, this valve bridges the gap between standard stainless steels and expensive exotic alloys, providing an economical yet highly durable solution for chemical processing.
Description
CN7M (Alloy 20 / ASTM A351 CN7M) is a “super” stainless steel that contains high levels of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum, along with copper:
- Superior Sulfuric Acid Resistance: The addition of Copper provides excellent resistance to sulfuric acid across a wide range of concentrations and temperatures.
- Corrosion Immunity: Offers outstanding protection against intergranular corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride-rich and acidic environments.
- Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC) Defense: High nickel content (approx. 33–37%) ensures the valve is virtually immune to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking.
Features
- GB Standard Compliance: Manufactured to GB/T 12234, GB/T 9113, and GB/T 12221 specifications, ensuring standardized dimensions and reliable performance for domestic chemical infrastructure.
- Full Bore Flow: The gate retracts completely into the bonnet, providing an unobstructed flow path that minimizes pressure loss—essential for high-volume chemical transfers.
- Flexible Wedge Sealing: The wedge-type gate ensures a tight, bubble-proof seal, compensating for minor seat deviations and ensuring safe isolation of hazardous chemicals.
- Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y): The rising stem design keeps the operating threads away from the corrosive media, ensuring long-term operational smoothness and preventing thread seizure.
