Description
321 Stainless Steel (06Cr18Ni11Ti) is an austenitic steel similar to 304, but with the vital addition of Titanium. This offers distinct technical benefits:
- Intergranular Corrosion Resistance: Titanium has a stronger affinity for carbon than chromium does. This prevents chromium carbide precipitation when the valve is exposed to temperatures between 425°C and 815°C, keeping the valve’s structure intact.
