Description
H42W Check Valve is a specialized non-return valve that operates via a lift mechanism. The “H” designates a check valve, “4” represents the flanged connection, “2” indicates the vertical lift structure, and “W” signifies a direct-contact metal seal (usually stainless steel). This valve is specifically designed for installation in vertical pipeline sections where the flow moves upward. When the upward pressure exceeds the weight of the disc, the valve opens; when the flow stops or reverses, gravity and backpressure force the disc back onto the seat, providing an instantaneous and reliable shut-off.
