H42W Check Valve,a vertical lift-type check valve designed to automatically prevent backflow in piping systems, featuring high-performance metal-to-metal sealing.
Description
H42W Check Valve is a specialized non-return valve that operates via a lift mechanism. The “H” designates a check valve, “4” represents the flanged connection, “2” indicates the vertical lift structure, and “W” signifies a direct-contact metal seal (usually stainless steel). This valve is specifically designed for installation in vertical pipeline sections where the flow moves upward. When the upward pressure exceeds the weight of the disc, the valve opens; when the flow stops or reverses, gravity and backpressure force the disc back onto the seat, providing an instantaneous and reliable shut-off.
Features
- Vertical Lift Mechanism: The “4” in the H42W designation refers to the vertical lift structure. The valve disc moves linearly along the center axis of the body. When the inlet pressure exceeds the weight of the disc (and spring tension, if applicable), the disc rises to allow flow. When the flow stops, gravity and backpressure quickly seat the disc to prevent reverse flow.
- Stellite Hardened Sealing: The valve seat and disc sealing surfaces are typically reinforced with Stellite (cobalt-based alloy) welding. This provides elite resistance to high temperatures, wear, and corrosion, ensuring a long service life even in high-frequency cycling applications.
- National Standard Compliance: Manufactured and tested according to GB/T 12235, ensuring standardized flange dimensions and pressure-containing integrity for domestic industrial projects.
- Versatile Material Options: Available in a full range of body materials—including carbon steel (WCB), stainless steel (304/316), and duplex steels—to match specific medium requirements such as water, steam, oil, or corrosive chemicals.
